WAV3000 wireless module creates a proprietary 5 GHz wireless network for MPEG

transport stream (TS) communication. The WAV3000 is a complete wireless transceiver module

3 Functional Specifications
The WAV3000 supports standard MPEG Transport Stream input and output in either

Parallel or Serial mode.
The Tx unit transmits the compressed MPEG TS signal to the Rx unit over the air, using the
( p- f. `' P6 h- q i7 I! N2 AWiViTM wireless networking technology at 5 GHz.
Supports 4.9 to 5.9 GHz frequency band and is controlled by software to comply with

The system support data rates from 6 Mbps to 60 Mbps.
The system supports video bit rates from 3 Mbps to 45 Mbps.
Proprietary radio resource control with dynamic frequency selection (DFS) and close-loop

power control (CLPC).
Overall video propagation delay of less than 30 ms.
Receive sensitivity is –86 dBm for video rate of 6 Mbps, and –78 dBm for video rate of 20

4 System Security
